Aaron MarcumFounder & Chief Executive Officer
Though Aaron received his degree from Utah State University in business and history, he quickly realized that his passion was in working with seniors. For eight years, Aaron owned and operated a highly successful home care agency. This work inspired him to start Home Care Pulse, aimed at helping home care providers measure and improve their quality of care. As Home Care Pulse has grown, Aaron has most enjoyed helping providers to accomplish their goals, empower their employees, and confidently provide the best in-home care. When Aaron isn’t working with providers, you can find him fishing, hiking, and camping with his family.
Erik MadsenChief Operations Officer
Before joining Home Care Pulse, Erik spent eighteen years working with a global consumer products company covering sales, marketing, customer support, and operations. He joined Home Care Pulse after a friend told him that it was a fast company focused on serving people. Erik has a master’s degree in business management from Idaho State University, and he loves using his knowledge and experience to help others succeed and organize chaos into functioning systems and processes. Outside of the office, Erik enjoys spending time with his wife and children, coaching youth sports, hiking, and gardening.
JC WeberDirector of Operations
JC started working at Home Care Pulse as a data analysis intern focusing on the Annual Benchmarking Study, a project that he has headed ever since. JC honed his skills in data analysis while studying financial economics at BYU-Idaho, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. JC specializes in collaborating with team members to create systems and processes that increase efficiency. He enjoys setting business priorities that focus on improving the customer experience. When he’s not in the office, you can find JC spending time with his family and enjoying the outdoors.
JaNeal ShawSatisfaction Research Center Manager
JaNeal received her bachelor’s degree in human development from the University of Utah, and she has ten years of experience working in human resources. As a manager, JaNeal strives to empower others and provide them with the tools they need to succeed. She enjoys igniting change and using strategy to inspire innovation. Away from the office, JaNeal is most passionate about being a mom. She loves to read with her children, play in the dirt, dress up, and teach her kids. When she’s not managing the SRC, you can find JaNeal spending time outdoors with her family.
Kire MadsenDirector of Customer Relations
Kire joined Home Care Pulse after completing his MBA at Idaho State University and working for five years as a regional sales manager. He welcomed the new challenge of joining the team at Home Care Pulse and adding his unique skills to the Customer Relations Team. Kire is passionate about creative problem solving and working with others, and he enjoys communicating with clients and helping them to see that the “why” is more important than the “how.” When Kire is away from the office, you can typically find him reading, woodworking, or playing basketball with his kids.
Angie LeeImplementation Specialist
Before joining the team at Home Care Pulse, Angie served as the Fundraising Specialist of the Rigby American Legion Baseball Board. After thirteen years working with teenagers, parents, and teachers, Angie decided to make the move to Home Care Pulse, where she admired the mission to improve senior care. Angie loves delivering a high quality customer experience and showing providers how Home Care Pulse’s services can improve their companies. When she’s not helping customers, you can find Angie at her son’s baseball games and spending time with her family.
Jessica ImblerCustomer Relations Manager
Jessica worked for ten months as a top associate in the Satisfaction Research Center before changing positions to customer account manager after graduating from BYU-Idaho with a degree in sociology. Jessica is passionate about working with customers and finds that her greatest strength is her ability to identify and resolve her customers’ needs. When she’s not in the office, Jessica enjoys taking trips with her husband. They frequently find new places to explore in the area and are fond of shooting, fishing, and riding bikes together.
Dee ArmstrongDirector of Business Development
Dee acquired his expertise in business development through years of experience as an educator, professor, mental health care manager, and professional trainer. He received his MPA from Idaho State University and his Eds. ED in adult education from the University of Idaho. At Home Care Pulse, Dee excels at creating partnerships and long-term relationships between organizations. He enjoys resolving complex issues using quick, progressive solutions. When he’s not in the office, Dee enjoys coaching sports and spending quiet time with his wife and children.
Kristi LarsonSenior Account Executive
Kristi spent four years as the office administrator for a prestigious law firm and two years managing the Satisfaction Research Center at Home Care Pulse before transitioning to the position of Senior Account Executive. Kristi loves working with customers and helping them to identify solutions to their problems with caregiver retention, client referrals, etc. using the Home Care Pulse program. She enjoys assisting providers in setting goals and achieving long-term success. Outside of the office, Kristi likes spending her time with her family, crafting, and working on home-improvement projects.
Tyler GuthrieMarketing Communications Manager
Tyler joined the Home Care Pulse marketing team in 2012 before graduating from BYU-Idaho with a degree in business management. Tyler has always loved computers and the web. He is passionate about leveraging technology to solve problems, streamlining systems and processes, and building beautiful modern websites. Tyler enjoys working with a close-knit team at Home Care Pulse that’s dedicated to improving the lives of seniors. Away from work, Tyler has a passion for everything cars and takes every opportunity to spend time with his wife and son.
Lainee TrostHR Manager
Lainee has worked as an administrative assistant since 2012, utilizing her degree from LDS Business College in integrated studies and her certification in administrative assisting. In a professional setting, Lainee loves to be a source of support for the rest of the office, and she constantly seeks out opportunities to help. When Lainee isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with family and refining her skills in photography and design. On the weekends, you can find her exploring the outdoors and camping with her husband.
Taylor HardyResearch Manager
Taylor’s favorite part of his work is analyzing data and identifying trends that will help home care businesses to improve profits and efficiency. He cultivated his analysis skills while working on his degree in economics from BYU-Idaho and as an intern for Home Care Pulse. After his exceptional work on the 2016 Home Care Benchmarking Study, he was brought on full-time as the Home Care Pulse Research Manager. On the weekend, you can find Taylor spending time with his wife and daughter or enjoying a round of golf.
Jason HamiltonDirector of Information Systems
Jason has a bachelor’s degree in business, communications, and computer science and fourteen years of experience in Level 3 I.T. management with Windows Server, Mac OS, and Linux. He loves taking the most difficult problems that people have and not only solving them but surpassing their expectations in the process. Jason excels at helping people become more organized by using minimalistic systems for improving how things are done. On the weekend, you may find Jason mountain biking or recording music in his home studio.
Rob OlsenSenior Software Developer
Rob started honing his computer skills while studying information technology at BYU, and he fine-tuned those skills while working in tech for various companies before joining Home Care Pulse. Rob started on the team as the ‘Head Bug Fixer,’ which cultivated his love for squashing tech bugs and correcting inefficiencies in the system. Rob’s goal as Director of Information Systems is to make the customer experience as seamless as possible. There are two things Rob loves even more than fixing bugs: his family and losing at board games with his friends.
Caity CampContent Manager
Caity gained her writing and editing experience while studying for her bachelor’s degree in English at BYU-Idaho and while working as a copywriter in marketing following graduation. Caity loves to put her education and abilities to use in her work, and she appreciates the unique value that good writers add to a business. Outside of the office, Caity loves to spend time in the sun. On the weekend, you’ll can find Caity reading by a lake or enjoying the sunlight, water sports, BBQs, and other joys that come with warm weather.
