29.1 million Americans have been diagnosed with diabetes, and each year 1.4 million more Americans are diagnosed. Of these 29.1 million Americans, approximately 25.9% are seniors, with that number continuing to grow. At Home Care Pulse, we are committed to doing our part to help improve the lives of seniors who are impacted by this life-changing disease.
On June 10, we are sponsoring a team to ride in the Tour de Cure to support the cause of educating and curing those with diabetes. Tour de Cure is a cycling fundraising event hosted by the American Diabetes Association to spread awareness about diabetes and raise funds for research. This event is a great opportunity for all to come together to aid in the vision of a life free of diabetes and all its burdens.
