Like it the old fashioned way?

Flu season is here!   So, this Sunday kicks off National Influenza Vaccination Week.   The CDC sponsors this awareness campaign each year to highlight the importance of flu vaccines.

People of every age, including people in good health, are at risk for influenza.   However, people 65 years and older, and those with other illnesses or weakened immune systems can die from the virus.

And, those are the people you serve.

This Flu Fight Needs A Hero

Healthcare workers in all settings can pass the flu virus to some of the most vulnerable people – frail elderly, babies, and patients with weakened immune systems.

That’s why the CDC wants everyone to know that an annual influenza vaccine is the best way to protect against this potentially serious disease.

What’s more?   Vaccines do DOUBLE DUTY in Healthcare.   Vaccinated healthcare workers protect themselves – and they protect vulnerable clients.
