Aaron MarcumFounder & Chief Executive Officer
Though Aaron received his degree from Utah State University in business and history, he quickly realized that his passion was in working with seniors. For eight years, Aaron owned and operated a highly successful home care agency. This work inspired him to start Home Care Pulse, aimed at helping home care providers measure and improve their quality of care. As Home Care Pulse has grown, Aaron has most enjoyed helping providers to accomplish their goals, empower their employees, and confidently provide the best in-home care. When Aaron isn’t working with providers, you can find him fishing, hiking, and camping with his family.
Erik MadsenChief Operations Officer
Before joining Home Care Pulse, Erik spent eighteen years working with a global consumer products company covering sales, marketing, customer support, and operations. He joined Home Care Pulse after a friend told him that it was a fast company focused on serving people. Erik has a master’s degree in business management from Idaho State University, and he loves using his knowledge and experience to help others succeed and organize chaos into functioning systems and processes. Outside of the office, Erik enjoys spending time with his wife and children, coaching youth sports, hiking, and gardening.
Kevin HansenSenior Account Executive
Kevin consulted businesses in their marketing efforts in anything from print to digital for over a decade before coming to Home Care Pulse. He’s passionate about making connections with businesses and people. He finds satisfaction and joy in helping business owners discover solutions to improve their company’s brand, quality, and awareness. Kevin is an East Idaho native who loves sending time in the outdoors with his family whenever possible.
Jennifer BrownJunior Account Executive
Originally from Colorado, Jennifer relocated to Rexburg, Idaho to help provide in-home care for a loved one. This experience gave her a great passion for what Home Care Pulse does. She understands the value of quality care and employee satisfaction. Being part of all the many tools Home Care Pulse provides to their employees and clients to ensure successful outcomes is something Jennifer loves. Jennifer is a goal setter in her personal and professional life. Her current goal is to run a full marathon. Jennifer loves kayaking, biking, hiking and rollerblading. She also enjoys caring for her four chickens.
Brian BrowerJunior Account Executive
Brian is currently pursuing a degree in Public Health from BYU-Idaho. He has held many customer service positions and enjoys serving others, which is what drew his interest to Home Care Pulse. Brian enjoys helping seniors all over the country achieve excellence in all aspects of their home care agency. He also enjoys the happy atmosphere of the company. When not at work, he enjoys camping, art, traveling and being at home with his wife, hedgehog, and iguana.
Kire MadsenDirector of Customer Success
Kire joined Home Care Pulse after completing his MBA at Idaho State University and working for five years as a regional sales manager. He welcomed the new challenge of joining the team at Home Care Pulse and adding his unique skills to the Customer Sucess Team. Kire is passionate about creative problem solving and working with others, and he enjoys communicating with clients and helping them to see that the “why” is more important than the “how.” When Kire is away from the office, you can typically find him reading, woodworking, or playing basketball with his kids.
Kendra NielsonNational Customer Success Manager
Kendra enjoys working at Home Care Pulse because of the empowering culture that aligns with her own core values. Home Care Pulse allows Kendra to take initiative to get things accomplished while thinking outside the box. Kendra studied at Idaho State University and at BYU-Idaho in graphic design. She is a native of Southeast Idaho who enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and their two boys. Kendra loves music and is always up to attend the latest concert.
Jessica ImblerCustomer Success Manager
Jessica worked for ten months as a top associate in the Satisfaction Research Center before changing positions to customer account manager after graduating from BYU-Idaho with a degree in sociology. Jessica is passionate about working with customers and finds that her greatest strength is her ability to identify and resolve her customers’ needs. When she’s not in the office, Jessica enjoys taking trips with her husband. They frequently find new places to explore in the area and are fond of shooting, fishing, and riding bikes together.
Garth CraneCustomer Success Manager
Garth started in the Satisfaction Research Center for a few months before given an opportunity to become a customer success manager. He has been with the customer success team for a little over a year and loves listening to the needs of our clients and finding the correct resolution for them to reach their goals. Having graduated with a degree in healthcare administration from BYU-Idaho, he understands what it takes to run and manage a healthcare business. Garth knows how to help our clients meet the demands of their caregivers. Garth and his wife enjoy spending time with their family and playing tennis together.
Derrick HirschiCustomer Success Manager
Derrick has held customer service positions in many different industries, ranging from retail and services to IT tech support. He is passionate about using tools to give more meaning to the tasks at hand, and he loves helping others understand and utilize the tools Home Care Pulse has to offer. Derrick started at Home Care Pulse in the Satisfaction Research Center. From there, he applied and was promoted to the position of Customer Success Manager. When not at work, Derrick enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, tinkering with pieces of technology, and coaching NFL games from the comfort of his own home.
Nick MechamCustomer Success Manager
Before becoming a customer success manager for Home Care Pulse, Nick was a trainer in the satisfaction research center for two and a half years. Nick’s love and interest in Home Care Pulse have grown with each passing year, and once he graduated with his bachelor’s degree in biology from BYU-Idaho, he applied to be a part of the customer success management team. Nick enjoys learning about communicating with others and how to assist individuals with their problems. When he isn’t in the office, Nick loves watching movies, reading books, and having dance parties in his kitchen with his beautiful wife and adorable children.
JC WeberDirector of Operations
JC started working at Home Care Pulse as a data analysis intern focusing on the Annual Benchmarking Study, a project that he has headed ever since. JC honed his skills in data analysis while studying financial economics at BYU-Idaho, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. JC specializes in collaborating with team members to create systems and processes that increase efficiency. He enjoys setting business priorities that focus on improving the customer experience. When he’s not in the office, you can find JC spending time with his family and enjoying the outdoors.
Lynsey SkinnerSatisfaction Research Center Manager
Lynsey has a passion for coaching which really helps her shine here at Home Care Pulse. Before joining the team she worked and managed a call center for 10 years where she held positions which included corporate trainer and senior manager. Managing the call center at Home Care Pulse has been a wonderful experience for her. She loves how it directly impacts the quality of life for each person Home Care Pulse is able to reach. Born and raised in Eastern Idaho, Lynsey adores her three children and spending time with them. When Lynsey is not at work you can find her doing Spartan races, hunting, fishing, and spending time in the great outdoors
Tyler GuthrieMarketing Manager
Tyler joined the Home Care Pulse marketing team in 2012 before graduating from BYU-Idaho with a degree in business management. Tyler has always loved computers and the web. He is passionate about leveraging technology to solve problems, streamlining systems and processes, and building beautiful modern websites. Tyler enjoys working with a close-knit team at Home Care Pulse that’s dedicated to improving the lives of seniors. Away from work, Tyler has a passion for everything cars and takes every opportunity to spend time with his wife and son.
Connor KunzContent Manager
Before joining Home Care Pulse, Connor majored in business management at BYU-Idaho and managed a hotel in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Drawn by the opportunity to be a part of the culture, values, and vision of Home Care Pulse, Connor left behind a career in hospitality management and joined our marketing team. He is passionate about helping organizations grow and shaping messages that resonate with people. Outside the office, Connor can usually be found dunking deep-fried food in ranch dressing or road-tripping through a national park with his wife.
Kaylee HatchGraphic Designer
Kaylee started as an intern for Home Care Pulse back in 2016 designing the Benchmarking Study. Becoming a part of the team after her internship she now works as the Graphic Designer. She graduated with an associate’s degree in Liberal Arts from the College of Southern Idaho and is now pursuing her graphic design degree from BYU-Idaho. She loves designing because of the polishing and improving aspect, as well as the difference it can make in the way content is received. When it’s the weekend, Kaylee can be found playing volleyball, and camping. She loves spending time with her husband exploring the great outdoors as well.
Sydney Rose KellyGraphic Designer
A Midwest girl, Sydney moved to Rexburg in 2010. After graduating from BYU-Idaho in 2015 with a Bachelor’s of Fine Art in Graphic Design, she has designed for a variety of companies in the area. Prior to joining Home Care Pulse, she spent 18 months raising her baby girl at home. Sydney is obsessed with color, doodling during meetings, and seeing how design can impact the world. She is an amateur gardener who loves to take her Australian Shepherd on ridiculously long walks and is helping her husband restore their 1972 VW camper bus so they can go on fun family adventures in it. Her mantra is “messes are mandatory, sleep is optional.”
Jason HamiltonDirector of Information Systems
Jason has a bachelor’s degree in business, communications, and computer science and fourteen years of experience in Level 3 I.T. management with Windows Server, Mac OS, and Linux. He loves taking the most difficult problems that people have and not only solving them but surpassing their expectations in the process. Jason excels at helping people become more organized by using minimalistic systems for improving how things are done. On the weekend, you may find Jason mountain biking or recording music in his home studio.
Glade PinnockIT Software Engineer
Glade is a native to Southeast Idaho. After receiving his bachelor’s degree in computer science from BYU-Idaho and his master’s degree in business from Idaho State University. He joins our team with over 15 years experience in enterprise development and programming in various languages. He’s a natural problem solver, who is organized and detailed with the projects he’s involved in.
Luisa McFarlandOffice Manager
Luisa has a passion for the wellness of others and is currently pursuing a degree in public health from BYU-Idaho. Being a fan of puzzles, she is a problem solver who loves to create effective ways to accomplish tasks. Working at Home Care Pulse, Luisa enjoys contributing to the growth of the company and enabling success for those around her. Originally from Brazil, Luisa has called Rexburg her home for eight years and fell in love with the small town feel. When Luisa is not at work she enjoys reading, running, hiking and spending time with her family.
