Responsibilities

  • Help to expand our empire of educational content for small business owners

  • Write blog content, manage social media, and write marketing emails

  • Take part in discussions about our overall marketing strategy

  • Assist with other marketing/writing/data analysis projects as needed

Necessary Qualifications

  • A very strong writer, with a good ear for brand voice

  • Able to quickly learn the landscape of a niche industry

  • Able to understand and relate to the challenges small business owners face

  • Able to analyze data and come to thoughtful and actionable conclusions

  • Someone who exemplifies our Core Values (service-minded, problem-solving, continuously learning, driven, and passionate)

Preferred (not required)

  • Experience in management at a small business, with profit/loss, marketing, and/or staffing responsibilities

  • Experience in B2B content marketing, email marketing, and social media management (esp. Facebook Ads Manager)

  • Experience working with data in Google Analytics, Excel, and a CRM such as HubSpot or Salesforce

  • Experience building and optimizing WordPress sites

  • Basic skills with Adobe Creative Suite

  • Experience in account management, B2B sales, or partner management
