This program provides information to support care of the patient with Alzheimer’s disease in the home care and hospice setting. The course reviews pathophysiology, assessment, risk factors, and management strategies for people in various stages of dementia.

Describe the characteristics and stages of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.
