Opioid Diversion

This course teaches the importance of recognizing opioid diversion and how to safely and effectively manage anti-diversion processes in home care and hospice settings. Education on the opioid epidemic and the importance of recognizing and resolving opioid abuse amongst patients and caregivers in the home setting is provided. Learners are equipped with a SOLID plan to promote safety and adjust plans of care for patients and caregivers with opioid diversion concerns. This course is appropriate for all home care and hospice healthcare professionals looking for a greater knowledge base regarding opioid drug diversion and improve patient outcomes.
