What You’ll Do:

  • Recruiting and onboarding
  • Payroll administration & reporting
  • Benefits administration
  • Assist management team with employee relations matters
  • Drive performance and talent management process
  • Answer employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors
  • Participate in developing organizational guidelines, policies and procedures
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices
  • Manage the organization’s HRIS system and prepare reports
  • Exemplify HCP core values and be a champion of culture
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in human resources or related (essential)
  • At least two years related experience (essential)
  • Current human resources and/or payroll credentials or certification (preferred)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and payroll processing software (preferred)
  • Deep understanding of Labor Law and employment equity regulations
  • Efficient HR administration and people management skills
  • Excellent record-keeping skills
  • Fantastic knowledge of HR functions and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Works comfortably under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
  • Superb computer literacy with capability in email, MS Office and related HR software.
  • Remarkable organizational and conflict management skills.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail

Schedule:

  • Full time, 40 hours/week
  • Monday to Friday
