Position Summary

We are looking for a Director of Business Development to lead and develop a team of talented Sales Executives and Onboarding Specialists. As a team, you will be responsible for increasing annual revenues through the successful implementation of the Home Care Pulse sales cycle which includes: lead creation and nurturing (in conjunction with the marketing team), sales presentations, closing the sale, and successfully onboarding newly sold accounts.

As the Director of Business Development, you are a key representative for Home Care Pulse throughout the home care industry and must have excellent organization, leadership, and communication skills to positively represent Home Care Pulse in all your interactions.

Compensation: Salary – Based upon experience and skill level

Position Requirements

  • Proven Sales and Sales Leadership Background (has had experience personally selling and leading a sales team)

  • Experience in selling software/services is a plus

  • Superb organizational skills

  • Knowledge of sales related tools (CRM such as Hubspot, GoToMeeting, GoToWebinar, etc.)

  • Experience managing professional business-to-business relationships with mid-size to larger organizations

  • Experience with all Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)

  • Ability to track and manage monthly KPIs

  • Must be a data driven sales leader

  • Implement social media strategy to help align with business goals

  • Motivated by monthly sales goals

  • Present educational webinar content to national audiences

  • Ability to travel to approved annual conferences (7-10 trips per year, averaging 2-3 days per trip)

  • Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, and customer service to ensure everything stays on brand

  • Is a self-starter and able to take initiative on all projects

  • Communicate with prospects and customer inquiries in a timely fashion

  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness such as promotions and other initiatives
