Web Administrator

About This Role

The Home Care Pulse marketing department is looking for a skilled web administrator to help build, maintain, and optimize our websites.

You will join a fast-paced team and have the opportunity to start contributing from day one on web marketing projects such as making web page and theme customizations, writing custom CSS/HTML, implementing new plugins or technology, setting up A/B testing or other website analytics & tracking, and much more.

While our culture is relaxed, this job is both fast-paced and challenging. We typically pay more than most companies in the area and expect a little more too.

  • Maintain 3 WordPress installations (WP core, plugins, theme updates, and other maintenance)

  • Assist in configuring Website/CRM integrations

  • Help develop custom email templates

  • Collaborate with the marketing team on on-page SEO optimization efforts

  • Work with graphic design on executing landing page designs
  • Set up advanced tracking using Google Tag manager
  • Troubleshoot website/plugin issues
  • Stay updated on new software features and opportunities
  • Find opportunities to optimize website conversion
  • Help configure A/B tests using Google Optimize and other tools
  • Optimize website speed and performance

  • Develop website customizations using a combination of CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and PHP

  • Assist on front end development projects for our customer web application

  • Administer & maintain website hosting, backup settings, and other configurations

  • Plan & orchestrate complex website migration projects

Required Qualifications

  • Deep experience with WordPress & technical understanding of WordPress architecture

  • Expert in CSS/HTML and comfortable with editing/writing some JavaScript and PHP

  • Proven organizational & project management skills

  • Stellar communication and follow-up skills

  • Capable of learning new software and technology quickly

  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Optimize or similar

  • Familiarity with marketing terminology and principles

  • Well-versed in responsive design & mobile friendliness

  • Hosting management/cPanel experience

  • Ability to identify and implement long-term solutions, not quick fixes

  • Able to analyze data and come to thoughtful and actionable conclusions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in B2B/SaaS marketing

  • Adobe XD/Sketch/similar

  • Zapier experience

  • HubSpot experience

  • SQL/phpMyAdmin experience

  • Intermediate understanding of SEO principles & best practices
