Position Summary

Home Care Pulse is growing quickly, and we are looking to add talented and dedicated people to our team. As a member of our business development team, you will prospect and acquire new clients daily from various inbound and outbound lead sources. You will assist in all aspects of the business development process by prospecting, cultivating, setting appointments, managing leads in our contact management database system, and performing over-the-phone demonstrations. You will negotiate terms, pricing, and conditions of service agreements. Occasional travel to industry conferences may be required.

The ideal candidate is passionate about achievement, draws energy from working with people and takes ownership of the business development process to maximize effectiveness. They will have the drive and tenacity to maximize productivity, deliver engaging over-the-phone demonstrations, and achieve or exceed revenue targets while effectively assisting potential customers with their inquiries.

Duties and Corresponding Responsibilities

  • Working with the Director of Sales and Marketing team.

  • Primary duties include inbound and outbound calling, e-mail communication, coordination and scheduling.

  • Ensuring that all current and potential customers who have expressed interest in learning more about the Home Care Pulse programs and services are contacted in a timely and efficient manner and in conjunction with the established company guidelines.
  • Perform over the phone and in-person sales demonstrations.

  • Developing business opportunity within specific geographies.

  • Achieving productivity, appointment setting and revenue targets while responding efficiently to customer inquiries.

  • Manage cultivation of inbound inquiries to convert leads to appointments. Following scripts to deliver the team value proposition and handle objections.


  • Excellent organizational, time management, and follow-up skills

  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills

  • 2-3 years experience B2B sales experience preferred

  • Ability to build meaningful connections and rapport quickly

  • Can work without close supervision while still contributing to a close-knit team

  • People-oriented, positive and customer-focused attitude with excellent customer service skills

  • Decisive and proactive
