PLEASE NOTE: Your training requirements may extend beyond state regulations. There are many variables that shape your unique curriculum needs.

Your state report includes the training requirements for:

Caregivers: Non-medical caregivers provide personal care, companionship and/or homemaking duties—all with the goal of helping people remain independent and stay in their own homes as long as possible.

Home Health Aides: Under the supervision of medical staff, home health aides care for people who are injured or are physically, mentally or emotionally ill—and who wish to be cared for at home.

Certified Nursing Assistants: CNAs, or certified nursing assistants, help patients or residents with their healthcare needs.  They work under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or a licensed practical nurse (LPN).
