Fall Prevention Strategies
This course teaches the importance of recognizing fall risks in the home setting and how to effectively reduce or eliminate these risks in the older adult populations served by home care and hospice professionals. Education on a multifactorial fall risk assessment tool, the MAHC-10, is provided as well as tips on how to promote safer practices in the home setting. The unique Strategy for Fall Prevention also teaches every professional a realistic everyday approach to create a safer home environment for every patient.
