Medication Safety in Hospice

This course teaches the importance of medication safety as it relates to unique hospice scenarios. Learners are equipped with 5 Effective Tips for Medication Reconciliation and the 7 Rights of Medication Administration to promote safety and reduce errors and adverse events in daily practice. Using a Promote Medication Safety approach, the course provides in-depth education on the importance of recognizing errors, maintaining awareness of error-prone medications, and identifying unsafe scenarios for resolution. This course is appropriate for hospice nurses, as well as any hospice staff member looking for an understanding of the responsibilities of medication safety in the hospice setting.
