Elders with diabetes face different challenges than others when managing blood sugar levels. Through online lessons, recipe videos and knowledge checks, caregivers will learn how to do the following:

Lessen the risk of diabetes-related complications through food choice.
Create meal plans to meet an elder's food and dining preferences.
Identify food containing carbohydrates and its impact on overall health.
Provide elders with wellness and quality of life through thoughtful meal planning.
Manage blood glucose during illness with food and beverages.
